KARSHRINK
(Surface Printing Inks for PVC Film)
Description: KARSHRINK INKS are formulated for reverse printing over shrinkable PVC and pet film labels. These inks are suitable for high speed printing and can be used for Rotogravure Printing.
Application: KARSHRINK INKS can be printed on Shrinkable PVC and Polyester Films. The recommended treatment level of Film is at least 38 dynes/cm to ensure Good Adhesion and optimum Block Resistance properties.
Printing Process: Can be used for Rotogravure Printing.
Printing Substrate:
- Shrinkable PVC Film.
- Treated Polyester Film.
Lamination: KARSHRINK INKS are not recommended for Lamination purpose
Key Product Features:
- A number of properties like high surface slip, scratch resistance are in-built in these inks for general purpose printing.
- KARSHINK INKS have good heat resistance to enable heat sealing on the printed area.
- Inks with resistance towards water and deep freeze are available.
- KARSHRINK INKS are inadequate to resist aggressive oil/ghee, alkali and detergent.
- LIGHTFASTNESS: The pigments used have specific light fastness, but may not be suitable for extended exposure to direct sunlight.

**However recommendations from a Karjen Service Executive should be followed in order to get best Printability and appropriate drying under various conditions.
Shelf Life: The inks and medium of this series have, under normal conditions, a shelf life of at least 6 months.
Normal Conditions means:
- Storage in tightly closed containers.
- No admixtures.
- Short time excessive-temperatures e.g. at transport are not harmful.
- The products are not sensitive to frost.
Over-stored inks stored inks (typical symptoms: Shift in shade, formation of odour and / or viscosity Increase) may normally – (off color being exceptions) - be used the same way as residual inks by controlled admixture to fresh inks. Increased viscosity due to long-time storage of inks may generally be adjusted by addition of a slightly higher amount of thinner than the usual.
